St. Vincent DePaul Society - St. Victor Conference "The poor you will always have with you......." (Matthew 26:11) The Vincentian is at their service. The Vincentian does not judge. The Vincentian is available as time and resources permit. In the name of Jesus and with your support the quiet men and women of the St. Vincent de Paul Society extend the helping hand to those in need. hi 1833, the society was organized in Lyons, France by Frederic Ozanam. It is a simple society bearing witness to the fruitfulness of Christian charity through personal contact with those who suffer. St. Victor's Conference was established on November 7,1963. The original members attended the Ozanam School as a prerequisite for the establishment of a St. Vincent de Paul Conference. Today training and information continues to be made available for all members to help better serve those in need. The conference extends its membership to anyone that is able to assist in our mission. There are currently 17 members, 10 men and 7 women who visit families or individuals who are in need. We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month. In situations where the needs of the family or individual exceed the ability of the Society to provide, they are referred to other agencies for assistance. To continue our work, with those in our area and who are in need, we need your support. The only means of finding comes from the members of our Parish. We welcome your help so we can help others.
